NH docks at Troy

Today was the perfect day for a sailboat however most all sailboats that NH passes have their masts down so they can cruise under the bridges. A very industrial part of the river as we cruise past Albany to Troy. It would appear that metal scrap is very prevalent.

Before passing under the Green Island Bridge Nana took a picture of Starbucks Island.

The Green Island Bridge is quite unique with its modern rounded towers that are supposed to be painted green.

Taking a nice stroll before having dinner onboard - due to the expectation of heavy rain and winds - Nana and Nandad pass by Ryan’s. Tomorrow we will tackle the beginning of all the locks into the Erie Canal.
